Board Meetings

You're invited.

PVA Board meetings are open to all members of the Pine View community — parents, guardians, faculty, alumni, and students. Whether you want to hear about what's happening across campus, learn how PVA funds are being put to work, or simply stay connected to the school you love, we'd love to see you there. No RSVP needed — just show up.

When & where

Second Tuesday of the month.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Pine View Student Union. Meetings typically run from August/September through April, with no meeting in December.

Format

What to expect.

A typical board meeting follows a consistent format so the community can stay informed on all aspects of school life.

  • Call to order & minutes — the meeting opens with approval of the prior month's minutes.
  • Treasurer's report — a financial update on PVA funds and disbursements.
  • Principal's update — news from the administration.
  • Teacher representative reports — elementary, middle, and high school highlights, field trips, competitions, and student achievements.
  • Funding requests — clubs and organizations present requests for competitions, events, and special projects, with votes during the meeting.
  • Vice President updates — sponsorship, communications, and upcoming PVA events.
  • Annual Meeting (April) — committee presentations from all PVA programs, board nominations, and the annual election of new board members.

Come see where your PVA dollars go and how decisions are made — your voice matters.
