We collect personal information only when you choose to share it through one of our forms. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, business or family name, the sponsorship level or donation amount you select, the events you would like to volunteer for, and any details or photos you include with a website update request.
We use this information to process sponsorships and donations, coordinate volunteers, respond to your request, and keep our community informed. We do not sell your personal information.
Online sponsorship and P.A.C.E. payments are processed by PayPal. You enter your payment details on PayPal's secure system, so PVA never receives or stores your full card number. PayPal handles that information under its own privacy policy, available at paypal.com/privacy.
PVA does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track your browsing across the site.
Some features we embed from other services may set their own cookies or collect usage data when they load. Our Instagram feed is shown through Elfsight, and PayPal runs on the pages where you can pay online. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
If you attach a photo to a website update request, please note that images can carry embedded location data (EXIF GPS). If you would rather not share that, remove it before uploading. We use submitted photos only for PVA communications and the website.
Our site links to outside services such as the Community Foundation of Sarasota County (the Giving Challenge), Google Forms (funding requests), and the PVA membership site. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Form submissions are retained by the PVA board for as long as needed to carry out the purpose you provided them for. To review, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email info@yourpva.org and we will help.
